Getting Started with the SonicLoop API

The Sonic Loop API is currently under active development but consists of two categories:

Open Sound Control (OSC)

and Spout (near-zero latency real-time streaming)

With OSC (Open Sound Control) you can control effects, their settings and other parameters within SonicLoop from a remote computer, a tablet or smart phone.

You can also load complete FX stacks over OSC.

With Spout you can stream video in and out of SonicLoop. Video can be streamed to any Spout enabled application like VLC or OBS or to other creative applications like Touch Designer, Resolume, OpenFrameworks etc.

You can also stream video in to SonicLoop through Spout (or regular video stream) and remix the video signal in real-time in SonicLoop.
